Carter's favorite thing to do outside is to "knock Dadda off."

Will is such a happy baby. As long as someone is holding him, he's got it made:)
We had a great Christmas together. We visited our parents and grandparents and ate a lot of yummy food.
This is me and Will's stocking.

So, we bought a new house. Hurray! We've been looking for about a year. It's nice to have more room than we know what to do with. I'm sure we'll accumulate enough JUNK to fill it up soon though. I would hate to have things organized for too long--not that anything is organized right now. Christmas is the stupidest time of year to move.
Here we are in front of our old apartment. Carter keeps asking if we can go back "home." He doesn't like the new house at bedtime. He misses his friend, Ella. She lived next door and they played a lot together.
This is our Christmas tree that we got from my cousin, Joel. It's an eight foot Grand Fir. It's so pretty and smells so yummy--I mean good. If it smelled yummy than we would want to eat it and that is a little weird.
This is sort of a crummy picture, but I wanted one with the lights so I used my fireworks feature on my camera.
These are our little goofballs. This was one of the many pictures we took for our Christmas card. The bribe of M&Ms only goes so far.
We drove to La Verkin for Thanksgiving to spend some time with my grandparents on my mom's side. They have never met Will and haven't seen Carter for a really long time. We had such a fun time together, I wish we could see them more. My family went to La Verkin every summer and my grandpa on my dad's side made up a song about it called "Squirkin' in La Verkin."
Grandma Kate had a pinata for the kids to break while all the dads went for a hike. This is Carter on his fifth or sixth attempt to break the pinata. He thought we were playing a game called "hit."
This is Carter with the GIANT pumpkins that Grandma Diane and Grandpa Dave grew for all the kids.
Carter's pumpkin is on the left, it's a bat. Will's is on the right and is a jack-o-lantern.
You can't tell it from the picture, but Bradee's pumpkin (far right) is the biggest, weighing in at 50 lbs. Her pumpkin is a cat, Kaycee's is a jack-o-lantern, Marlee's is a dragon. We had a lot of fun scooping out all the pumpkin guts and next year I'm going to start a pumpkin guts fight (Grandma and Grandpa are going to love it:)).
This is Carter and Jacob bobbing for apples with Katrina. They laughed so hard and had so much fun trying to get the apples with their mouths.
Here are our totally awesome Halloween costumes. Jeremy's a knight, Becca's a princess (I know, it's a stretch), Carter is a dragon, and Will is a frog.
Here's the Barker fam, Clay and RoseAnna are pirates, Jacob is a monkey, Caleb is a pumpkin, Katrina is a ninja, and Burdette isn't quite in costume, but when dressed up, he sort of resembled a terrorist. Yikes.

This is Will being less-than-thrilled that he's had the flash in his eyes ten times while Mom tries to get a picture of us together. We should have just waited for Dad to get home...
Carter is saying "cheese" in this picture. He thinks that just by saying "cheese" that he's smiling. It's cute, but we have a billion pictures of him with his lips like that. What a goofy kid.
This is Carter enjoying the Sunday morning session of Conference with the love of his life and next door neighbor, Ella. Every time he hears her voice outside the apartment, he runs to the door and yells, "Ella, I'm in here!"
This is Carter and Jacob freezing in the rain. The walk started at This is the Place Heritage Park and ended at the zoo. The boys were excited to see the animals, it's too bad we couldn't spend more time at the zoo.

We had fun celebrating Grandma Diane's birthday last weekend. This is Grandma with all the grandkids: Bradee, Marlee, Parker, Will, Kaycee, Payton and Carter.
Will had a great time lounging with Great-Grandpa D and Great-Grandpa G.
Whipping cream anyone? We hadn't heard Carter playing for a few minutes (always a bad sign) and found him finishing off the whipping cream for Grandma's cake.
Will looks so cute in this outfit, I had to stick it on the blog. I think he looks like a caterpillar. He's so fun, he laughs all the time now and it's especially cute when his big brother makes him laugh.
Carter got a new bike this week. He keeps commandeering his friend, Ella's, bike so we decided to get him his own. He's a pretty coordinated little kid and can steer and stop really well. He's too short to reach the pedals unless they're parallel and when he can reach them, he stands up on them and tips over. He's more obedient when he's riding his bike than he is when he's just running around. I guess the threat that Mommy will take his bike away if he goes in the street is a better threat than threatening to take away his feet if he runs in the street....that was supposed to be funny. It really isn't.
We went to the train park in Farmington and Carter had a fabulous time. We rode the train and watched all the little trains that were "sleeping in the train house." We ran into our friends/cousins, the Nicholls, who were visiting from Washington, DC. Carter had such a fun time and cried and screamed and kicked and cried some more when we left. All week he's been demanding that we return to the train park, "choo choo."
This is Will (on the right) and his cousin, Caleb. Will is getting so big and wiggly--that's why the picture is blurry. He's so much fun and such a smiley and happy baby as long as someone is holding him. He just started sleeping in six hour stretches during the night. I'm more than thrilled.
