Pumpkin Party

This is Carter with the GIANT pumpkins that Grandma Diane and Grandpa Dave grew for all the kids.

Carter's pumpkin is on the left, it's a bat. Will's is on the right and is a jack-o-lantern.

You can't tell it from the picture, but Bradee's pumpkin (far right) is the biggest, weighing in at 50 lbs. Her pumpkin is a cat, Kaycee's is a jack-o-lantern, Marlee's is a dragon. We had a lot of fun scooping out all the pumpkin guts and next year I'm going to start a pumpkin guts fight (Grandma and Grandpa are going to love it:)).

Bark or Treat

This is Carter and Jacob bobbing for apples with Katrina. They laughed so hard and had so much fun trying to get the apples with their mouths.

Here are our totally awesome Halloween costumes. Jeremy's a knight, Becca's a princess (I know, it's a stretch), Carter is a dragon, and Will is a frog.

Here's the Barker fam, Clay and RoseAnna are pirates, Jacob is a monkey, Caleb is a pumpkin, Katrina is a ninja, and Burdette isn't quite in costume, but when dressed up, he sort of resembled a terrorist. Yikes.

p.s. Doesn't Carter look like he's having such a great time?

Nerds

This is our goofy Carter with his fireman hat from the McClures, his glasses from our diabetes walk, his pajamas (after his nap), and his very special Little Einsteins bandaid.

This is Will being less-than-thrilled that he's had the flash in his eyes ten times while Mom tries to get a picture of us together. We should have just waited for Dad to get home...

Carter is saying "cheese" in this picture. He thinks that just by saying "cheese" that he's smiling. It's cute, but we have a billion pictures of him with his lips like that. What a goofy kid.

General Conference

This is a picture of the boys enjoying the Sunday afternoon session of General Conference.

This is Carter enjoying the Sunday morning session of Conference with the love of his life and next door neighbor, Ella. Every time he hears her voice outside the apartment, he runs to the door and yells, "Ella, I'm in here!"

Barker Bunch

Thanks to everyone who donated to our Step Out to Fight Diabetes fund raiser. We raised over $1,800.00 to help cure diabetes. Our team was called The Barker Bunch: Jeremy, Becca, Will, RoseAnna, Clay, Caleb, Burdette, Katrina, Jan, Carter, Jacob, John. Not pictured: Ryan, Mike and Chris.

This is Carter and Jacob freezing in the rain. The walk started at This is the Place Heritage Park and ended at the zoo. The boys were excited to see the animals, it's too bad we couldn't spend more time at the zoo.

This is our team walking, Ryan and Clay in the front, Jan, Jeremy, Carter, Jacob, Katrina, RoseAnna, Burdette and Will in the back. Go Barker Bunch!

Happy Birthday Grandma Diane

We had fun celebrating Grandma Diane's birthday last weekend. This is Grandma with all the grandkids: Bradee, Marlee, Parker, Will, Kaycee, Payton and Carter.

Will had a great time lounging with Great-Grandpa D and Great-Grandpa G.

Whipping cream anyone? We hadn't heard Carter playing for a few minutes (always a bad sign) and found him finishing off the whipping cream for Grandma's cake.
