Naps

So, this never ever, ever, ever happens. Carter hasn't taken a nap (except short ones in the car) for several months. Today, while I was feeding Will his lunch; Carter fell asleep on the kitchen floor. He has a little cold and went to the Jazz game last night and woke up at 6:30 this morning, so he was extra tired. He slept on the freezing tile in his robot shirt and Thomas the Train underwear for two hours. Will took a nap for part of that time too. I haven't had an afternoon like this forever! I didn't know what to do with myself. I read, I wrote in my journal, I cleaned part of the house. What a weird day.

Vernal Schmernal

The whole fam went to visit my sister and her family in Vernal this last week. We all went up to see their new kitchen. It was so awesome that I forgot to take a picture of it. We had a fun time.

While Will and Caleb were playing with this.....

their big brothers, Carter and Jacob, were doing this. It was a game the boys made up called "putting books on Burdette." Having a fun and very patient uncle is pretty cool.

We all went bowling and even little Will got a turn.

Jacob's grandpa brought his tractor over to give the boys a ride in the backyard. Jacob rode all over, but Carter was too scared to get in.

Here are the boys, Jacob, Will, Caleb and Carter. Jacob and Caleb are two months older than Carter and Will. It's fun to have built in buddies:)

What's up

Here are some pictures of what we've been up to the past couple of weeks. We are so interesting.

Will Learned how to crawl. It's just as cute the second time around! He is a little akward on his hands and knees, but he's still mobile. Watch out Carter!

Here are Carter and his cousin, Parker, enjoying the Super Bowl at Grandma and Grandpa D's house. My favorite part of the game was the half-time show. I love Tom Petty!
Here's Carter and his buddy, Bridger. Bridger's mommy and Carter's mommy were buddies growing up.
Here is Will eating his way into a career as a sumo wrestler. Seriously, he's getting so big. He's eight months old and weighs what Carter weighed at twelve months. I am getting really strong from lugging this kid around. However, I spent the first few months of Will's babyhood wishing that he was a little older so that things would be easier. Now, I keep praying that he'll stay little forever. Little Will is the PERFECT addition to our family.

Happy Birthday Lindsay!

Happy Birthday to my dear friend, Lindsay. Some of my craziest college moments would have never happend without you. (I mean that in a good way.)

Tag, I'm It.

I have been tagged by my friend and former roommate, Kristin.

**Ahem**

Seven Interesting Things About Me

1. I really like recipes and think a cookbook book club would be the best thing ever.
2. I have read and or listened to all of the Harry Potter books on tape at least four times maybe five (except book six which I've only read/listened to three times and book seven which I've only read once.)
3. I have no furniture in my livingroom.
4. I almost NEVER listen to the radio in the car.
5. I still sort of speak French.
6. I have cried three times watching the BBC Planet Earth Series and we're not even halfway done.
7. I have never laughed harder at a movie in the theater than Notting Hill--however, it is not my favorite movie and not even on my top ten list.

p.s. The picture above is me on my first day of junior high.
p.p.s. If your name starts with the letter A, C, E, K, or R, I'm tagging you. If it starts with the letter L or M, I'm tagging you, too.
