New Post

So, we bought a new computer and don't have any pictures on it yet and I'm knitting a million and a half (four) Christmas stockings so basically, I'm just posting to say I don't have time to post anything. Happy Christmas to all!

Happy Halloween

We had a super fun Halloween this year. Carter and Will spent three days wearing their ninja costumes and had class Halloween parties and parades at school. It's their favorite holiday, next to Christmas.

Lizzy was a little bumblebee. She was so cute in her costume and was such a good little trooper trick or treating to the great-grandparents.

Carter and Will were super cool, super awesome, super deadly and silent ninjas--complete with ninja swords.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa DD's Halloween party and carved pumpkins after! We had fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa and playing in the pumpkin guts.

This is our scary pumpkin, Old Ear Eye (one of his eyes looks like an ear).

We went trick or treating to our great-grandparents, showed off our costumes, and caused major havoc with the ninja swords.

By the time we got to Great-Grandma and Grandpa Barker's house, Lizzy (I mean Elizabeth, sorry Grandma) had had it!

After trick or treating at Gma and Gpa JJ's we rushed home to hand out candy and make pizza.

I took a picture of our pizza since it kind of looks like a ghost. Next year we'll use Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken so that it really looks ghosty.

***
We're sad to see Halloween go but can't wait for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Not to mention HARRY POTTER 7!!

The Best Things About Soccer

We have loved playing outside this fall. Our new basketball hoop, wiffle ball and bat, and soccer ball have been put to good use. Carter and Will have both played on soccer teams with friends from our neighborhood. Carter's favorite parts have been running around, kicking the ball, eating treats, and scoring one whole goal! (I was at Will's game and missed it--so sad.)

***
Carter's other favorite thing is playing with his shorts...
...and his shirt--like at EVERY game.
***
Will's favorite was wearing shin guards, eating treats, and standing in the field. In his words, "my favorite was all of it." My favorite thing was the team name--The Black Panthers. Um, yeah.
Will's coach was so nice and let him kick the ball in most of the times it went out of bounds.
Will's cute soccer team. Don't you love those pink soccer socks and cleats?
Lizzy's favorite thing was snuggling--she's a very accomplished snuggler.
We drug that poor little baby to all the boys' games and woke her up with every cheer.
***
These pictures don't have anything to do with soccer, they're just cute.

Lizzy is also a very accomplished thumb sucker. It's cute now. It will not be cute in about a year.

The end.

Hiking in Nephi Canyon

Forever ago, like about almost maybe a month ago, we went hiking in Nephi Canyon with Grandma and Grandpa. It was hot and beautiful and there were a lot of cow pies and dust. Talk about awesome!

Welcome Fall

We were sad to see summer go but we're excited for the fun things the fall brings. Like:
the first day of Kindergarten. Doesn't he look so cute?

Will on Carter's first day of school.

We both went for the first day only for an hour. Carter's class started the following week.

I followed the bus to school. I cried.

Carter jumping off the bus on the way home.

Carter's soccer game. His team is called the Tigers. (pics of Will's team to come)

Lizzy at our backyard camp out--4 months.

Roasting marshmallows in out new fire pit.

Riding Aunt Fawn's pony.

Welcome Baby Sophie! We're so glad you're here!!!!

Sophie and Lizzy's first play date.

Will's first day of preschool.

The boys after school.
