Three Legs

Almost everyone in my family has their birthday in March so we celebrated everyone's birthday on Saturday and had three-legged races, an Easter egg hunt, a fishing pond, and chicken tacos.

Carter and Jacob were awesome three-legged racers.

Will and Caleb were awesome, too. But mostly because they both kept laughing so hard they could barely walk--even if they hadn't been tied up together. It was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

Grandpa John and Uncle Clay raced the boys and Burdette and Holly.
I think they all fell--except for BurdHol.

Burdette and Holly with Burdette's gross Moustache March moustache. It is not cute, but she is.

And as a side note, I made this apron for my sister to use in Primary.

Two Wheels

Carter has been training to ride a two-wheeler every sunny day all month. He learned how a few weeks ago. Mom took off the training wheels (it was not cute) and then Dad came out and helped Carter for about 10 minutes and...
...he was a pro.

We haven't even had a trip to the ER yet (cross your fingers) but we did have a big crash shortly after these pictures were taken. Will ran down the street and Carter couldn't steer or stop yet and they crashed into each other with both parents yelling and trying to reach the crash scene from different directions. It's really funny now, but only because none of our cowboys was seriously injured. Carter can now steer and stop.
